BB Kings NY
Realised tonight I was standing on the same stage that James Brown (my all time musical favourite) had performed on ? quite humbling. The stage sound is too ?dry? for a really great performance but we did play very well to a very appreciative crowd.

House of Blues Atlantic City
Very good crowd tonight and we played very well. The house crew were on top of it ? very good. Excellent lights and P.A. But strange being part of casino resort ? too Las Vegas for me.

Great venue ? great sound system ? great staff. Switched to just O.C.D - Best tone so far and my favourite performance so far. Used two marshall heads and cabs running at half power. Excellent audience.

PHILADELPHIA, PA
Very good sounding room, but monitors not up to the task. Great audience, we played very well.

When signing autographs after the show I met a guitar teacher who had brought some of his young students to see us-- good to know that you can reach that age group -- they seemed impressed!

JAXX, SPRINGVFIELD, VA
A good sounding stage but the production was a little thin. Hospitality and dressing room non-existent.

Played the #2 Midnight Wine Signature and it sounded fabulous. Also went back to the original Fulldrive which definately has a magic. I thought I played great, and the crowd was excellent.

GREENVILLE, SC
Excellent little venue with a good sounding stage. Very friendly audience and we really enjoyed the gig.

Played through my oldest Marshall head (70s, I think)--- beautiful tone.

HOUSE OF BLUES MYRTLE BEACH
Very good venue -- well run with an excellent PA and monitors. We sounded really good.

Again a very good responsive crowd, but the air conditioning was up so high that it was cold onstage and my fingers kept sticking on the strings. But we played very well.

HOUSE OF BLUES ORLANDO
Not the greatest sounding stage, nevertheless a very good venue and a really good crowd.

Had one of my old Marshalls go down at soundcheck - struggled a bit in the show to get something out of the replacement. Laurie (Sound Engineer) was pleased with everything out front.

JANNUS LANDING
One of my all-time favorite places to play. Outside - set in a large courtyard. Wonderful crowd -- could not really be any better.
Played through two heads, making adjustments as I went through the set -- not quite there yet. Monitors a bit on the thin side, but otherwise had fun!

Friday 16th June 06

FORT LAUDERDALE
The venue was not too big - ideal for first show after 1 month off. Fantastic crowd - old and new songs go over equally well. Playing through my old Marshall 800 (beautiful tone).

Recieved latest Signature Strat from Todd at Fender _ when I have set it up I will try on a show.

Cheers for now.

Went to JB's today to start working on the songs for our project together. Things were happening right from the start - am looking forward to getting together with him in the studio. (He is as great as ever!)
